​One of the most daunting tasks for the would-be herbalist is deciphering how to pronounce the new vocabulary. It can be pretty confusing: herbalism borrows words from the scientific lexicon, from Latin, and from many cultures and traditions around the world. 

Luckily, there are quite a few resources online that can make it a little easier to learn the lingo. Here’s an article I wrote over at the Herbal Academy that takes you through some of the basics you need to know and points you toward some of the best resources to help you get started.
