My apologies for being AWOL the last few weeks on the blog! I accepted a new role with The Herbal Academy, and had some general upheaval (all of it wonderful!) with my scheduling and commitments. I’m delighted to announce that I have one less part-time job to juggle, AND the first half of the Adaptogen recipe book has been turned in to the publisher. I’m still going to be a bit secretive about the book, simply because I am somewhat anxious of the whole process of working with a big publishing house. So far everything is going well and they love what I’ve submitted, so we will continue to keep our fingers crossed for a big, amazing announcement in a few months!!!!

The next Leaflet is coming along great, and is going to focus on the nitty-gritty of creating formulas, building an apothecary, herb-drug interactions, and how to make extracts with different menstruums (ie, what’s the benefit of using vinegar over vodka, or glycerin, or a water based infusion). There will also be summer recipes, and a few plant profiles for you to add to your collection (assuming that you collect plant profiles, or is that just something weird that I do?)

I hope you are enjoying some lovely weather and are ready for spring!

All the Best,
Agatha
