The May 2016 Leaflet is available from my Etsy Shop! The theme for this issue is The Anywhere Apothecary.  It covers articles on basic medicine making, and profiles several herbs that I think no one should ever be without. There’s an article about it, but also a garden plan for small spaces called The (Almost) Anywhere Apothecary Garden.

One of the things that bothered me the most when I was first learning herbalism was that some of my resources staunchly refused to use the Imperial system of measurement in favorite of Metric, or vice versa. Considering that all I really cared about was “What does that equal in teaspoons?” this was remarkably frustrating. So, one of the things I made for this zine was a handy measurements and conversions chart. The measurements had to be rounded a little for ease of use (that’s also noted on the chart), but they are perfectly serviceable for the average kitchen herbalist.

Other fun articles in this edition include:
Vim and Vinegar: The Artful Aceta
Tipple, Tincture, Toddy, Toast!
Many Merry Menstruums
The Anywhere Apothecary
